Meet Dr. Eden, our dynamic Optometrist extraordinaire! Born in the Philippines and proudly raised in Calgary, Dr. Eden Pagtalunan brings a warm, community-focused approach to Optometry. Her journey into the world of eye care began right here in the city she calls home, where she earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. It was during her undergraduate years—immersed in vision research—that she discovered her true calling in eye health and vision science.
Driven by curiosity and compassion, Dr. Pagtalunan went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. She completed her clinical training back in Calgary, a deliberate choice that reflects her deep connection to the local community and her commitment to giving back through exceptional eye care.
Dr. Pagtalunan is passionate about comprehensive, personalized eye care for patients of all ages. Whether it’s vision correction, preventative eye health, or managing ocular diseases, she ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. She has special interests in myopia control and dry eye therapy, and loves educating her patients so they can take an active role in their own eye health.
Fluent in English and Tagalog, Dr. Pagtalunan is excited to welcome new patients and build lifelong relationships rooted in trust, care, and clear vision.
